Excavator Operator

We're seeking a skilled and safe Excavator Operator to take on their next long term role in the waste industry! Perfect role for someone who enjoys being hands on and is seeking a long term and secure role.

WHAT'S ON OFFER:

• Night shift role - 10pm starts
• Quarterly performance allowances available

THE ROLE:

• Safely operate excavators with Grabber attachments
• Handle and move around scrap metal, recycling materials and other waste
• Load and unload trucks
• Pre-start checks and basic maintenance on machinery and plant as required
• Follow strict quality, communication and safety standards in the workplace

ABOUT YOU:

• Valid excavator ticket or SOA in Excavator Operations
• Minimum 2 years experience operating excavators in a scrap metal, waste, demolition or related environment
• Must have experience using Grabber attachment for excavators
• Physically fit and comfortable working in a physically demanding environment
• Able to pass pre-employment medical checks
• Strong focus on quality, safety and communication requirements in the workplace
